1986. Representing F.G Minwalla Girls High School & Receiving Copper Award (3rd Place) in International Children's Art Competion at Japanese Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan. My family refused to attend this event to support me. Behind that smile is a heartbroken teenager. The following year in 1987 I received 1st Place in Regional Art Competion in Karachi, Pakistan. Once again not a single family menber came to the ceremony.
